She supervises a full book production team of writers, editors, illustrators, cover designers, proofreaders, and publicists. She and her team have produced more than 500 books. She holds a degree in anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley. She has extensive training in traditional publicity and Internet marketing and is currently supervising production of a book on TV publicity. Registration: Advance / confirmed registration is required. No walk-ins at the door will be allowed.

What to Wear: Business casual. Be prepared to adjust your temperature with an extra layer of clothes (jacket, sweater, wrap, etc.). (Also, please avoid highly scented perfumes or lotions as people may be sensitive to such smells.)

What to Bring: Something to take notes with, a willingness to contribute and be open to learning, the commitment to be present, a laptop if you so choose (not required) and anything special you want to eat. You will receive a printed Learning Guide with speaker bios, notes and more the day of the event.

What to Eat: Sandwiches, snacks and bottled water will be included in the day’s tuition. If you have particular food requirements and/or desire specific snacks, please bring them – there is a refrigerator on site. (Anything ‘smelly’ – popcorn, fish, etc. – is not encouraged.)
